Why this report exists

Canada is one of the world's great AI research nations, yet adoption across our businesses lags. The conversation about jobs is dominated by global, sensational takes that don't reflect Canadian industries, regulation or regional economies. We built this report to replace fear and hype with something more useful: evidence, at the level of actual tasks.

How we analyze it

Rather than asking "will this job disappear," we break roles into their component tasks and assess each one:

The mix of those three across a role tells a far more honest story than any single headline number.

Most roles aren't "replaced" — they're recomposed. The winners are the people and businesses that re-mix toward the augmentable and resilient work fastest.

What you'll find inside

  1. An exposure map for each industry edition.
  2. The specific tasks moving first — and a realistic timeline.
  3. The high-value work that opens up as routine work is automated.
  4. Practical recommendations for individuals, employers and policymakers.

Use it in your decisions

Individuals use it to plan their next move; SMBs use it to pick where to adopt first; enterprises and institutions cite it in strategy and policy. If you need a custom edition for your sector or region, that's exactly what our research practice does.
